Waverley Council invited Elastic–Minds to develop a creative installation as part of a pilot project to test a new pedestrian zone in Bronte Cutting. We discovered that the history of the area was rich with local stories that few were aware of – from bikini arrests to olympic gold medals, runaway trams to horrific murders, eccentric local characters to royal visits. The project involved uncovering these stories and working with a copywriter and illustrator to bring them to life in a refreshing and engaging way.
